Our founder is an architect with a passion for Japanese food and culture. When his favourite Japanese restaurant closed down and London became saturated with “Faux Japanese” corporate restaurants, he founded Satori with the best Japanese chef he could bring over to the UK. Together and with collaboration with Japan Food Company, one of the oldest and the largest food companies in Japan, they trained others to recreate the same authentic Japanese experience he had lost. Every Satori outlet since has always followed the same strict standards and recipes for consistency.

The restaurants, the furniture, and artwork are all designed in-house and created by Satori staff.
